Vietnam eVisa for Indians (2026): 90 Days, USD 25, 3 Working Days

Vietnam runs one of the friendliest visa systems in Asia: since August 2023 every nationality qualifies for the 90-day eVisa, and there is no embassy visit, no biometrics and no interview. USD 25 single entry or USD 50 multiple entry, official processing 3 working days, delivered as a PDF you print.

What the official portal actually asks for

• Scanned passport bio page (the portal wants a small file, under ~200 KB)
• A straight-looking portrait photo without glasses
• Your travel dates and your entry and exit checkpoints
• A temporary address in Vietnam (your hotel)
• Card payment of USD 25 / USD 50, non-refundable

The one real trap: entry ports

Your eVisa is only valid at the checkpoint you selected at application. The official list was expanded to 83 ports in December 2025 (airports, land crossings and seaports), but if you land at a different airport than the one on your eVisa, you have a problem at the border. We verify your port against the current official list before submitting.

UK passport? You may not need a visa at all

British citizens (and 23 other nationalities including Germany, France, Italy and Spain) enter Vietnam visa-free for 45 days, confirmed until 14 August 2028. Longer trips or multiple entries still use the 90-day eVisa.
